Why are men so hard to buy for? I don’t tend to buy presents for my husband any more as he is so fussy. He buys what he likes through the year or tells me something that he would like. The nicest gift I have given to him was a pocket watch and cufflinks for his wedding present but he has hardly used them since. He hates surprised and so I have to always check with him before I buy gifts anyway. It would be nice to be able to get him something that he really liked and surprise him with it and I think that if I managed to get exactly the right thing, then he would enjoy the surprise. However, this is really hard to do as it is usually something technical that I do not know enough about. I have, in the past, resorted to looking in a shop or on a website with gifts for men but find it hard to pick out something which he would find useful, as he does not like presents which are not useful. I think that if people are that fussy then they shouldn’t expect to get gifts that they will like or maybe not expect to get gifts at all!
