My friends have recently set up their own Yahoo store and have been asking for help with their Yahoo store SEO. I know quite a bit about search engine optimisation as I used to have a lot of websites and so worked on getting those high in search engines. The thing is that for a store it is necessary the quantity of traffic that is as important as the quality of the traffic. They want to attract genuine customers to the website rather than just lots of random visitors. It is a waste of everyone’s time if they visit the site and are not interested in the products available. I have been explaining to them that there are two methods of conversion optimization that I can see are available to them. They either only work on attracting potential buyers to the website or they try a really hard sell technique to get all visitors to buy, regardless of whether they actually intended to initially. I think that the first option is probably the easiest of the conversion marketing techniques and we will be working on it together in order to make the most of their store and maximise their sales.
